May 2015 horoscope - Virgo

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16^th September to 15^th October or Virgo Ascendants and Moons

Virgo, I’d be surprised if you didn’t go on a holiday this month, or at least make plans to do so. Once you’ve considered your financial situation, checked your savings account and counted your pennies around the time of the full Moon on 4^th May, you’ll be off. This is a time when, whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – in terms of your finances, possessions and values. This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the ‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it now. In particular, when it comes to (joint) finances where you seem to display considerable ambitions now - usually of the ‘having it all’ variety.

The new Moon on 18^th May is in Taurus and is then the time for you to hop on a plane, visit faraway places and hopefully take some time out. The past three months have been a whirlwind for you and your relationships, now it’s time to take a breather….and that’d be the best possible option for you. The alternative is a big focus on teaching, education, learning and really focusing your mind on the task at hand. So mentally, this can be bit of a draining period for you – you’ll have to stay sharp and if education or teaching is what you do, you have to put in a few late nights to get through the work load. That’s one option. Another alternative is around legal matters and marriage – while I’d like to say that it seems as though a lot of you (generally) are tying the knot, it’s more likely that it could be the opposite. Relationships have not been a great source of stability for you as you redefine your own boundaries at the moment and if you have been in a long-term and committed relationship, this is a month where you may have to deal with legal matters to do with marriage (i.e. the end of it) and other partnership-type contracts. So again, you planning a holiday is probably the best possible option. 

For those who are single, this is a nice time to generally, be seen and mingle. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and the one ruling your partnerships is still exalted in Cancer until July, so make the most if his generosity, putting you in touch with the right people at the right time – including someone special.
